Celebrations of the Word
Ep41: Jesus I Trust in You
In the Gospel, Jesus challenges his friends to step out and trust him. It's time for them to go out in twos into all of the towns and villages where Jesus is to go. To stretch their trust levels, Jesus asks them to take very little for the journey. With the help of the image of Divine Mercy, Greg reflects upon how Jesus is always inviting us to trust him more. The reflection leads into a time of prayer and we then sing the hymn ‘Praise’ with Gabe.
Ep40: Love Jesus like Saints Peter and Paul
Saints Peter and Paul both showed their love for Jesus no matter the cost. As we celebrate these two great saints, we listen to the Gospel passage where Jesus chooses Saint Peter to lead his Church. Greg gives an encouragement to show our love for Jesus and not worry about what others may think. We then pray together and sing "Follow Me" with Sr Chiara.
Ep39: Corpus Christi - The Miracle at every mass
We are celebrating the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. In the Gospel, we hear about the amazing moment when Jesus fed 5000 people with two loaves and five fish. Greg reflects upon the Gospel and helps us understand that a miracle is worked at every single Mass. We then gather together and meet with Jesus in prayer and sing "This is My Body" with Angel.
Ep38: Discovering the Holy Trinity
What is the Holy Trinity? It is a mystery of our Catholic faith and impossible to fully understand. Greg shares with us a story about St Augustine and how he discovered the best way to think about the Holy Trinity. We then come together in prayer and meet with the Trinity before joining Angel as she sings King of Kings.
Ep37: Pentecost - Filled with the spirit
On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came like a mighty rushing wind and filled Jesus's friends. Tongues of fire separated on their heads and they were changed forever. With the help of Sr Thérèse, we share with children how they too can be filled with the same Holy Spirit. With him, they can do things beyond their wildest dreams. We pray for an infilling of the Holy Spirit and then sing "Holy Spirit" with Angel.
